Queries on Annual Returns
The comments and queries on the Forms for the Annual Returns are under review and the Central Bank will publish a response on a date to be determined.
Definition of “market share”:
It is noted that this definition is similar to what is contained in the Financial Institutions Act. However, this definition may not be applicable to the insurance industry. Guidance would, therefore, be needed on how this would be applied in the insurance industry.
When will the Reinsurance Guideline be issued?
The Guideline was issued to the Industry for consultation on November, 30, 2020. Feedback from the Industry are expected by end of January 2021.
