This is a compilation of the first ten lectures delivered by some of the finest intellectuals from the Caribbean, Latin America and North America in the Dr. Eric Williams Memorial Lecture series. The lectures, hosted by the Central Bank, cover a range of issues that are of particular relevance to the economic, social, cultural and political development of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.  It includes contributions from Nobel Prize laureate Sir Arthur Lewis, Dr. Henrique Iglesias, Dr. Javier Perez de Cuellar and Professor Kari Levitt, Professors Errol Hill and Ken Ramchand, Sir Phillip Sherlock, Professor George Alleyne, Sir Alister McIntyre and Mr. Justice P. Telford Georges.
