Comparative Schedule of Commercial Banks’ Fees and Charges
In 2016, the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (the Central Bank) undertook an exercise to compile and publish key fees and charges of the eight commercial banks. The Comparative Schedule (“the Schedule”) provides information on the fees and charges related to typical savings and chequing accounts, lending services, credit and debit card usage at Point of Sale (POS) and Automatic Teller Machines (ATM), other electronic payments and some miscellaneous bank services.
The data are divided into “personal” and “business” types, where applicable, and are categorized by one of the following options:
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Annually
- Cost per transaction
- Cost per unit
- Cost as a % of value
- Other
The Schedule details bank fees and charges as at a specific date which are subject to change without notice. Please note the date stated at the top of each report. The Central Bank will update these fees and charges on an annual basis.
