Research Projects

The main research areas of focus for financial year 2010/2011 are:

Inflation Dynamics

The Inflation Dynamics team is conducting a survey on price setting decisions of firms in Trinidad and Tobago. Selected companies have received a questionnaire which enquires about the factors that influence a company’s decision to change the price of the good or service it offers. The information obtained will help the Central Bank better understand the economic and business environment in which it conducts monetary policy. The findings of the survey will be made available as a Research Working Paper.
Participating companies are kindly asked to return the questionnaire to the email address identified on the survey form or to the Inflation Dynamics Team, Research Department, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, by the 26th August 2011.
